To save energy in a hydrogen station by partly recovering heat of compression of a compressor unit by an absorption refrigerator, to fill a predetermined quantity of hydrogen gas to a fuel cell vehicle by pre-cooling the hydrogen gas to be supplied to a pressure accumulator unit and a dispenser and to reduce time to fill up.
The hydrogen station 50 for filling high pressure hydrogen gas to the fuel cell vehicle 6 is provided with the compressor unit 3, a pressure accumulator unit 4, a dispenser 5, a hydrogen gas piping 28 and the absorption refrigerator 7. The hydrogen gas flowing in the hydrogen gas piping 8 is cooled by introducing a part of the hydrogen gas piping 8 between the compressor unit 3 and the dispenser 5 to an evaporator of the absorption refrigerator 7 and a regenerator of the absorption refrigerator 7 is heated by heat of compression generated in the compressor unit 3.
