Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen storage alloy electrode having service life characteristic and discharge characteristic established compatibly by using a hydrogen storage alloy powder produced by atomization or centrifugal atomization, to enhance electric collectivity between a collector and the hydrogen storage alloy powder, and a nickel-hydrogen storage battery using the same. SOLUTION: The hydrogen storage alloy electrode comprises a spherical hydrogen storage alloy powder A, produced by atomization or centrifugal atomization and a underfined form hydrogen storage alloy powder B produced by mechanical crushing, the hydrogen storage alloy powder B, having nickel and/or cobalt on at least the surface to compatibly establish the service life characteristic and discharge characteristic of the battery.
