To provide a silicone resin-containing hydrogen occluding alloy hydrogen storage body which is not pulverized and collapsed even when performing occlusion and release of hydrogen repeatedly for a long period and has excellent heat durability, moldability and workability, and to provide a filling method and a shape each of which is most efficient for a hydrogen storage container.
The columnar hydrogen storage body contains 100 pts.wt. of hydrogen occluding alloy powder having an average particle size of ≤500 μm, and 0.5 to 100 pts.wt. of a silicone resin and is formed with a notch which penetrates from the bottom surface to the upper surface of the column. Further, the hydrogen storage container includes the above hydrogen storage body and a storage container which has almost the same shape and size with the whole column including the cut-off part of the notch of the hydrogen storage body.
