Abstract:
To provide a hydrogen storage device favorably used on a car having many restrictions on the design, capable of omitting or simplifying a splash preventing means such as a filter and hindering the center of gravity of the car from shifting.
The hydrogen storage device is equipped with a hydrogen storing member 2 of such a structure that a powder form carbon nano-tube as a carbonaceous substance able to adsorb or occlude hydrogen is processed into a thin film and a vessel 3 having an internal space 3a, a hydrogen influx hole 3b, and a hydrogen outflow hole 3c, wherein the hydrogen storing member 2 in the form of thin film is fixed by contacting with the inner wall 3d of the vessel 3.
