Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen storage device capable of effectively suppressing swelling.
SOLUTION: In the hydrogen storage device, a powder 2 of a hydrogen occlusion alloy and a powder 3 of a solid lubricant consisting of sulfide are mixed and packed in a vessel 1 to absorb and to release the hydrogen. And in the other hydrogen occlusion device, a pellet constituted by mixing and compacting the powder 2 of the hydrogen occlusion alloy and the powder 3 of the solid lubricant consisting of the sulfide is packed in the vessel. Moreover, in the another hydrogen occlusion device, the pellet constituted by compacting the powder of the hydrogen occlusion alloy is packed in the vessel and also the powder of the solid lubricant is packed at a gap between an inner peripheral surface of the vessel and an outer peripheral surface of the pellet.
