Abstract:
Provided is a detoxification facility for detoxifying hydrogen sulfide gas, wherein gas leakage from the facility to the outside is inhibited with greater accuracy. The present invention is a facility (detoxification facility) 1 for detoxifying hydrogen sulfide gas recovered from a first reaction facility 2A and a second reaction facility 2B in which a sulfiding reaction takes place, the facility comprising: a detoxification column 10A for detoxifying hydrogen sulfide gas; a preliminary detoxification column 10B for detoxifying hydrogen sulfide gas recovered from the second reaction facility 2B; a first introduction conduit 20 that connects the preliminary detoxification column 10B and the detoxification column 10A, and introduces gas that has been processed by the preliminary detoxification column 10B to the detoxification column 10A; and an exhaust conduit 30 for venting gas that has been detoxified by the detoxification column 10A. The first introduction conduit 20 is provided with a pressure transmitter 21, the exhaust conduit 30A is provided with an exhaust valve 31a, and, on the basis of the outlet pressure of the preliminary detoxification column 10B as determined by the pressure transmitter 21, the exhaust valve 31a provided in the exhaust conduit 30A controls the internal pressure of the detoxification column 10A to stay within a prescribed range.
