To improve the efficiency of dehydrogenation reaction and hydrogen addition reaction by suppressing the evaporation of a hydrocarbon-based material.
The hydrogen supply/storage apparatus 1 has a raw material tank 2 housing a raw material which is a hydrogen supply body or a hydrogen storage body, a reaction vessel 3 and a recovery tank 4 provided in the outlet side of the reaction vessel 3 and for recovering a product produced by the dehydrogenation reaction or the hydrogen addition reaction in the reaction vessel 3. The reaction vessel 3 has a catalyst 13 necessary for the dehydrogenation or the hydrogen addition reaction and filled in a passway through which the raw material flows from an inlet to an outlet and is provided with a heating means 11 for heating the catalyst 13 to a temperature necessary for the raw material brought into contact with the catalyst 13 to pass the gap among the catalyst 13 in a gaseous state.
