To provide a hydrogen supplying station and a hydrogen filling method capable of inhibiting the heating phenomenon in an on-vehicle tank occurring in filling hydrogen, improving the energy efficiency utilizing hydrogen, and filling hydrogen in a short time in accordance with a desired charging condition.
A control device 6 of this hydrogen supplying station 1 switches a used storage tank 21 to that having a pressure stage Pt one level higher, when a filling speed V obtained by a supply flow rate detecting means 33 becomes smaller than a specific standard speed V. The control device 6 stops the filling of hydrogen when a pressure Pv obtained by a pressure detecting means 31 reaches a filling target pressure Pm' calculated on the basis of a maximum used pressure Pm, in a case when the filling condition is a filling-up condition, and stops the filling of hydrogen when an integrated quantity Q obtained by integrating the filling speed V by the supply flow rate detecting means 33 reaches a specified filling quantity Qs.
