Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen water production device and a hydrogen water production method in which, by a simple and inexpensive configuration, the inflow of hydrogen gas generated by a reaction between a hydrogen generating agent and a water for the reaction, into the functional water side is permitted, and the inflow of a reaction water produced by the reaction, into the functional water side and the inflow of the functional water into the reaction water side can be securely restricted.SOLUTION: The hydrogen water production device includes: a functional water container filled with a functional water; a reaction chamber for generating a hydrogen gas by reacting a hydrogen gas generating agent and a water for a reaction; and a hydrogen gas ventilation passage for communicating between the functional water container and the reaction chamber and for discharging the hydrogen gas generated in the reaction chamber into the functional water, and in which the weir cross sectional area of all or part of the hydrogen gas ventilation passage is set to a size such that the communication of the hydrogen gas generated in the reaction chamber into the functional water container side is permitted, but the communication of the functional water within the functional water container into the reaction chamber side is restricted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
