Title:
HYDROGENATED BLOCK COPOLYMER COMPOSITION HAVING REDUCED ODOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH02209943
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition having excellent flexibility, heat resistance, rubber elasticity and processability, etc., by mixing hydrogenated block copolymer, polyphenylene oxide resin and specific powder component for reducing unpleasant odor component. CONSTITUTION:(A) 100 pts.wt. hydrogenated block copolymer obtained by adding hydrogen to a polymer block mainly containing at least two vinyl aromatic compounds and a polymer block mainly containing at least one conjugated diene compound is mixed with (B) 10-200 pts.wt. polyphenylene oxide resin as homopolymer or copolymer composed of bonding unit expressed by the formula (R1, R2, R3 and R4 are substituting group selected from H, halogen and hydrocarbon) and having 0.15-0.70 reduced viscosity measured in 0.5g/dl chloroform solution at 30 deg.C and (C) 1-100 pts.wt. at least one powder selected from activated carbon, zeolite, active clay, active alumina, silica, magnesia and ion exchange resin, etc., and in others, softener for rubber or thermoplastic resin, etc., then melted and kneaded to afford the aimed composition.
