Abstract:
A process for the preparation of a composition containing a partially hydrogenated block copolymer, characterized in that (a) 4 to 40 parts by weight of a partially hydrogenated block copolymer comprising at least two terminal polymer blocks a of a monoalkenyl arene having an average molecular weight of 5,000 to 125,000 and at least one intermediate polymer block b of a conjugated diene having an average molecular weight of 10,000 to 300,000, wherein the terminal polymer blocks a constitute from 8 to 55% in weight of the block copolymer and not more than 25% of the double arene bonds of the polymer blocks a and at least 80% of the aliphatic double bonds of the polymer blocks b have been reduced by hydrogenation, are mixed at a temperature of treatment between 150ºC and 400ºC with (b) a thermoplastic resin for primary engineering which is selected from the group consisting of poly (aryl polyethers) and polysulfones aromatic and having a generally crystalline structure and a melting point above 120ºC and with 5 to 48 parts by weight of at least one thermoplastic resin for different engineering which is selected from the group consisting of polyamides, polyolefins, polyesters, thermoplastics, polycarbonates, acetal resins, thermoplastic polyurethanes, halogenated thermoplastics and nitrile resins, the weight ratio of the thermoplastic resin for primary engineering to the thermoplastic resin for different engineering being greater than 1: 1 so as to form a poly blend in which at least two of the polymers form with each other at least partial continuous interconnected lattices (Machine-translation by Google Translate, not legally binding)
