The hydrogenated cyclic conjugated diene copolymer is obtained by hydrogenating a random copolymer having a 1,2-linkage comprised of 80-95 pts. wt. of a cyclic conjugated diene monomer and 5-20 pts. wt. of a linear conjugated diene monomer. The resin molded product for optical applications is made of the same.
