Title:
HYDROGENATION DECOMPOSITION CATALYST
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3798949
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogenation decomposition catalyst having high hydrogenation decomposition activity even at a low temperature and even in a de- benzyl reaction of a compound having benzyl group bonded with nitrogen, which hardly proceeds with the conventional catalyst.
SOLUTION: The hydrogenation decomposition catalyst is obtained by supporting the following component (a) and component (b) on an inorganic porous material. The component (a) contains at least one kind of compounds selected from palladium oxide, palladium oxide monohydrate and palladium hydroxide, in which the oxidation state of the palladium is divalent. The component (b) contains at least one kind of an element selected from a group composed of Pt, Ru, Rh, Ir and Au.
