Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a new method for synthesis of a tetralindicarboxylic acid dialkyl ester which is a modifier of polyethylene-2,6-naphthalenedicarboxylate.
CONSTITUTION: This method for synthesis of a tetralindicarboxylic acid dialkyl ester is carried out by reacting hydrogen of ≤35kg/cm2.G with a naphthalenedicarboxylic acid dialkyl ester (raw material) in the presence of one or more kinds of metals selected from a group of palladium, ruthenium, rhodium and platinum as a hydrogenation catalyst in a solvent capable of partly dissolving raw materials such as acetic acid and methanol.
