PURPOSE: To increase production of high-quality kerosine and gas oil and simplify the refining facility by bringing crude oil, etc., into contact with a catalyst in the presence of hydrogen to conduct hydrodesulfurization and treating it under a specified condition to conduct efficient hydrogenation refining of the crude oil, etc.
CONSTITUTION: This method for hydrogenation refining of crude oil or a treated crude oil from which naphtha fraction has been already removed is as follows; Crude oil or a treated crude oil from which naphtha fraction has been removed is brought into contact with a catalyst such as Ni-Mo in the presence of hydrogen to conduct hydrodesulfurization at 300 to 450°C and 30 to 200kg/cm2 under conditions of 0.1 to 3.0h-1 LHSV and 300 to 2000Nm3/kl of hydrogen/oil ratio. The resultant oil is then separated into naphtha fraction, kerosine fraction, gas oil fraction and heavy oil fraction by distillation under ordinary pressure and one or more fractions of the obtained kerosine fraction and gas oil fraction are brought into contact with a hydrogenation catalyst such as Ni-Co to conduct hydrogenation treatment at 30 to 200kg/cm2 and 300 to 450°C under conditions of 1.0 to 10.0h-1 LHSV and 300 to 5000Nm3/kl hydrogen/oil ratio, thus producing the objective hydrocarbon oil.
