Abstract:
To provide a polymer which has excellent surface hardness and durability because it has a three-dimensionally cross-linked structure, exhibiting antifogging performance, antifouling performance, antistatic performance and quick drying performance (a high evaporation rate of a liquid) because it has high hydrophilicity and has an excellent drip-proof property and to provide compounds being raw materials of the polymer.
The hydrophilic compound has a specified difunctional structure having a sulfonic acid group and/or a sulfonate group. The polymer is obtained from a monomer containing the hydrophilic compound.
