Abstract:
To provide a hydrophilic film which is the one having sufficient durability for practical use in a water-section environment and in which a fixed film hardness or more is maintained even in a wetting environment.
There is provided a hydrophilic film which has a hydrophilic functional group comprised of a sulfonic acid or a salt thereof and in which the weight concentration of sulfur atoms derived from the hydrophilic functional group and contained in the whole hydrophilic film is 0.02wt%-0.4wt% and the atomic density of sulfur atoms derived from the hydrophilic functional group and present on a surface in contact with the atmosphere of the hydrophilic film is 0.5 at% or more.
