Title:
HYDROPHILIC MEMBER AND METHOD FOR FORMING THE SAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2013063561
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a hydrophilic member which exhibits excellent adhesiveness to various base materials, which allows the surface of the base material to be excellent in water resistance, antifogging properties, antifouling properties and weatherability and have hydrophilicity, and which has a composition gradient film.

The hydrophilic member has the base material 2 and a film 3 which is arranged on the base material and contains a hydrophilic material (1) and a resin material (2). The film is the composition gradient film in which the composition of the hydrophilic material (1) and that of the resin material (2) change continuously in the thickness direction of the film so that a ratio of the hydrophilic material (1) may become larger and that of the resin material (2) may become smaller as it goes from the closest side thereof to the base material to the farthest side thereof from the base material. The hydrophilic material (1) contains a hydrolyzable silyl group-containing hydrophilic polymer, which has at least one specific hydrolyzable silyl group at the terminal of a main chain or a side chain of one molecule thereof and at least one hydrophilic group in one molecule thereof. The resin material (2) contains an oligomer or polymer, however the resin material (2) is different from the hydrophilic material (1).
