Abstract:

To provide a hydrophilic pressure-sensitive adhesive composition for skin external use which is prepared by using a hydrophilic pressure-sensitive adhesive having sufficient adhesive strength and capable of stably dissolving or homogeneously dispersing a drug; and a hydrophilic plaster.

A hydrophilic pressure-sensitive adhesive composition for skin external use using a hydrophilic pressure-sensitive adhesive is provided, and so is a hydrophilic plaster using the hydrophilic pressure-sensitive adhesive composition for skin external use. More concretely, the hydrophilic pressure-sensitive adhesive contains an acrylic copolymer prepared by copolymerizing (1) 70-99 mass% acrylic acid and (2) 1-15 mass% alkyl (meth)acrylate macromonomer. A hydrophilic pressure-sensitive adhesive composition for skin external use containing a hydrophilic medium is provided, and so is a hydrophilic plaster using this composition.
