Abstract:
To provide granular hydrophilic resin particles for agriculture which can be widely used as a soil water retention material for agriculture having both a water retention effect and strength.SOLUTION: Hydrophilic resin particles having an average particle diameter of 2.5-10 mm have water retention capability of 1-12 times the dead weight, compression fracture strength before water retention of 4 N/mm2 or more, and compression fracture strength after water retention of 2 N/mm2 or more with a water retention capability magnification of the dead weight. The hydrophilic resin particles for agriculture suitably have a pressure to 50% deformation of the hydrophilic resin particles of 1-10 N/mm2.SELECTED DRAWING: None
