A hydroponic device 10 comprises a container 11 capable of storing culture solution L, a plant holding plate 31 mounted on an upper portion of the container, and a circulation pump 51 which pumps up culture solution in the container to supply the solution onto the plant holding plate. A plurality of through holes 37 for holding plants, a reserving recess 39 which keeps the culture solution supplied by the circulation pump, and culture solution distributing grooves 41 which allow the reserving recess 39 to communicate with the plurality of through holes 37 for holding plants are provided on the top surface of the plant holding plate. The culture solution, which is supplied from the reserving recess 39 of the plant holding plate to the plurality of through holes 37 for holding plants via the culture solution distributing grooves 41, passes through the through holes 37 for holding plants and flows downward while touching plant roots, and is collected by the container 11.
