Abstract:
PURPOSE: To preferably conduct a hydrotreating process of hydrocarbon oil by treating the hydrocarbon oil in a reaction vessel including upper and lower catalyst beds in a specific embodiment, and applying a circulating treatment to a partially-hydrotreated hydrocarbon separated from a polluted hydrogen- containing gas.
CONSTITUTION: A hydrotreated effluent from an upper catalyst bed is separated from a gas by a taking-out tray. The separated hydrotreated hydrocarbon effluent is eliminated from the reaction vessel via a route 3. On the other hand, the used hydrogen-containing gas reaches a lower catalyst bed through a separating tray. A new hydrocarbon oil is introduced between the separating tray and the lower catalyst bed via a route 4. A partially-hydrotreated effluent obtained after the passage of the new hydrocarbon oil in the lower catalyst bed is eliminated from the reaction vessel via a route 5. At the same time, the partially-hydrotreated hydrocarbon oil (to be sent to a route 1) and the polluted hydrogen-containing gas are separated. The obtained clean gas is lubricated in a route 2 with a supplied hydrogen for reuse as needed.
