Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a hydrous gelatinous gas separating membrane excellent in CO2 permeability and CO2 selectivity, exhibiting excellent stability of the performance over a long period of time, also excellent in workability and capable of efficiently recovering a large amt. of CO2 from a fixed CO2 generating source, etc., at a low cost by improving a hydrous gelatinous gas separating membrane formed with a high molecular material.
CONSTITUTION: Water or an aq. soln. of a substance having an affinity for CO2 is practically uniformly held in a support membrane formed with a high molecular material soluble in a solvent and having a bulky structural part and a hydrophilic functional group in each of the repeating units. The objective hydrous gelatinous gas separating membrane is obtd.
