Abstract:
To provide a new hydroxypolyalicyclic compound producible by a simple and economically excellent method and to provide a polyurethane resin produced by using the compound as a raw material and having excellent physical properties such as strength and weather resistance.
The objective hydroxypolyalicyclic compound has at least one hydroxyl group and a skeleton composed of 3-20 alicyclic structures each having 3-12 carbon atoms and connected with each other in the molecule through isopropylidene group.
