An upper surface panel 3 is connected with a rear surface panel 5 through a folding line a, and in the meantime, one part of the upper surface panel being divided by a broken line on the upper surface panel is tilted backward with the folding line as a hinge axis h, and becomes a lid part 4 under an opened state for this hygienic paper leaf housing box. The housing box is equipped with restoring force adjusting parts 8a and 8b which are separated by a broken line on the rear surface panel to keep the opened lid part under a standing state by adjusting the restoring force in the closing direction by the hinge axis, and are attached to the lid part 4 through the folding line. The restoring force adjusting part 8b is formed across the side edge of the lid part, and the lid part preferably uses the folding line as the hinge axis for the upper surface panel 3, through the restoring force adjusting part.
