Abstract:

To provide a method for producing a hygroscopic and exothermic fiber having sufficient durability and exhibiting sufficient fastness to light even in the case of being dyed.

The hygroscopic and exothermic fiber is subjected to graft polymerization with a hydrophilic vinyl monomer in 5-10% graft polymerization ratio and has its surface coated with a diglycidyl ethylene glycol represented by general formula [1] (n is an integer of 1-3).
