Abstract:

To provide a hygroscopic spun yarn for preparing a lightweight and thin knitted fabric suitably used for winter clothes, particularly inner, and having both a heat retaining property and wearing comfortableness, and to provide the knitted fabric using the hygroscopic spun yarn.

A spun yarn containing 15-50 mass% of graft acrylic fibers prepared by carrying out graft polymerization of a carboxy-containing monomer onto acrylic fibers as a base material is used as the hygroscopic spun yarn.
