To improve the management of a link information table.

Whenever a hyper text reading device 1 is started, this processing is started and a present data D is obtained by a central controlling part 2 to investigate whether a next link data entry exists in a link information managing part 3. In the case that the next link data entry exists as the result of investigation, this processing is finished but when the entry does not exist, the entry is taken out and a date designated to the taken out entry, namely a finally accessed date (d) is obtained. Then, it is judged whether a difference between the date D and the date (d) is larger than a previously fixed value such as 30 days. In the case of negatively being judged, the next data entry is investigated and in the case of positively being judged, after the pertinent data entry is deleted, the next data entry is investigated.
