Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for protecting and/or treating a disease caused by abnormal aggregation and/or fibrosis of protein.SOLUTION: A composition for suppressing aggregation and/or fibrosis of protein contains oxidation type anthocyanin as an active ingredient. Protein selected from the group consisting of α-crystalline, α-synuclein, SOD1, amyloid β and variants thereof is exemplified as the protein. It is preferable that a molar ratio between oxidation type anthocyanin and anthocyanin in the composition be 70:30 to 100:0.SELECTED DRAWING: None
