Abstract:
To provide a hypochlorous acid water production device which performs ion exchange without extremely reducing pH of a treated liquid, and can produce hypochlorous acid water.SOLUTION: A hypochlorous acid water production device has ion exchange means for enhancing hypochlorous acid concentration in hypochlorous acid water by brought into contact with the hypochlorous acid water, in which the ion exchange means is made of a mixed bed of strong acidic cation exchange resin beads and strong basic anion exchange resin beads. Both the strong acidic cation exchange resin beads and the strong basic anion exchange resin beads have granular shapes with diameters at the time of swelling of 0.7-1.3 mm, and a mixed ratio of both of the beads is 0.9:1.1 to 1.1 to 0.9 in a volume ratio after swelling.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
