To shorten the takt time of an IC handler used for transferring electronic components between a component inspection apparatus and a plurality of trays.

The tray supporters 12 are installed to which trays T are positioned where the electronic components 5 are stored. The inspection sockets 6 to be loaded with the electronic components 5 are installed. First and second component transfer devices 3 and 4 for transferring the electronic components 5 between the inspection sockets 6 and the tray supporter 12 are provided. The tray supporters 12 are arranged, in a direction perpendicular to the direction (X-direction) leaving from the inspection sockets 6 in a plan view. The 1st and the 2nd component transfer devices 3 and 4 are provided with suction nozzles for moving between the tray T of the tray supporter 12 and the inspection socket 6, while sucking without releasing the electronic components 5.
