To provide an IC recorder advantageous in terms of miniaturization by obviating the need of a large installation space in installing an operation member.

A base plate 24 is attached to a case 14 of this IC recorder 12. A slide plate 22 is connected to the base plate 24 reciprocally movable. The operation member 20 is attached to the slide plate 22. A first arm 30 is formed integrally with the slide plate 22. The first arm 30 has an elastically deformable arm part 3002, and a projecting part 3004 protrusively formed at a tip of the arm part 3002. On the base plate 24, a recording engagement hole 36A, a stopping engagement hole 36B and a replaying engagement hole 36C for engaging the projecting part 3004 are formed with spaces in the moving direction of the slide plate 22.
