Abstract:
An improved mounting system for chain traction systems for use on vehicles with a live axle. Apparatus mounts to the threaded end of the U-bolt shackles (113) which secure the axle to a set of leaf springs (112) through 4 coupling nuts (201). Each pair of coupling nuts is attached to a cross plate (301) which is slidably mounted to a square mounting tube (305). The mounting tube is slidably mounted to a mounting plate (310). The two slidably attachments allow for adjustment of the device.
