Abstract:
PURPOSE: To surely prevent inferior paper feed by restraining the coefficient of friction of the outer surface of a paper feed roller to a sheet material from being lowered by paper dust.
CONSTITUTION: Means for cleaning the outer surface of a paper feed roller 5 comprises, for example, a blade 1 which is made, at its front end, into press- contact with the outer surface of the roller. Accordingly, paper dust sticking to the outer surface of the paper feed roller 5 can be removed. As a result, the coefficient of friction of the outer surface of the roller to a recording sheet 32 can be prevented from being lowered, thereby it is possible to surely prevent inferior paper feed.
