PURPOSE: To provide an economical and long-lived vibration control device for cable which requires a relatively small space, whose external appearance is fine, and which provides an effective vibration control effect regardless of vibrating direction.

CONSTITUTION: This vibration control device for cable, which is tensely-fitted between two fixing members, is provided with a protection tube whose base edge is stuck to one fixing member and in which a cable 4 is inserted coaxially, plural oil dampers 8 which are pivoted at an installation fitting 10a at equal intervals whose inner edges are pivoted at the top end opening part of the protection tube respectively at equal intervals and outer edges are fixed at the cable 4 a little apart from the top end opening part of the protection tube, a cone water stop cover 9 whose inner edge is fitted to the top end opening part of the protection tube, outer edge is fitted to the cable 4 a little apart from the top end opening part of the protection tube 1 to cover the top end opening part.
