Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a coating-lustering protective agent having such a high mol.wt. as not to cause bleeding even if blended in a large amt., and having at least 2 such specific groups as to enhance the ultraviolet absorption thereof to thereby prevent a coating surface from deteriorating by the action of ultraviolet radiation over a long period of time.
CONSTITUTION: This coating-lustering protective agent comprises as the active ingredients 20-80wt.% lustering agent such as a wax, a silicone oil or a silicone varnish, and 20-80wt.% ultraviolet absorber having at least two hydroxybenzophenone or hydroxybenzotriazole skeletons in the molecule thereof and having a mol.wt. of at least 450.
