Abstract:
PURPOSE: To simply charge an ink tank and to exclude the air in a supply passage by urging the air in the passage together with the ink to the tank side.
CONSTITUTION: The ink jet head cartridge comprises a recording head for discharging ink, a replaceable ink tank 1, a temporary ink reservoir 4 for temporarily storing ink, an ink supply passage 3 for supplying ink to the reservoir 4, and an operating lever 5 for attaching or detaching the tank 1.
