Date Aug. 6, 1992.A brake pad for disc brakes is provided in which the brake pad comprises a damping plate attached to the reverse face of a lining carrier plate. The damping plate is attached to the lining carrier plate by way of projections which are molded on the lining carrier plate and extend into corresponding apertures of the damping plate. The external ends of the projections are widened so that the damping plate is pressed against the reverse face of the lining carrier plate.
