Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an electric current path between metal foils to be joined at joining part by forming an oxide of second metal with reducing an oxide of first metal with a second metal and brazing metal foils while destroying an insulation film. SOLUTION: A joining material 11 is arranged between a waved foil 4 and flat foil 5. The joining material 11 consists of two sheets of Ni base brazing filler metal foils 11b, 11c and a second metal foil 11a between the two sheets. The assembly is pressurized from up/down direction at this state and heated in a non-oxidizing atmosphere heating furnace and the brazing filler metal foil 11b, 11c and second metal foil 11a are melt to form a joined part 13. The second metal is diffused at the brazing part between the waved foil 4 and flat foil 5, reacted with an alumina of insulation film 5c and reduced to destroy the insulation film 5c, the electric current path between the waved foil 4 and flat foil 5 is formed and a strong joined part 13 is formed. At this time, an oxide 14 of second metal is generated at the joined part 13, there is no adverse impact in forming electric curent path. By this method, a brazing filler metal is not warped to float except the joined part between the flat foil 5 and waved foil 4.
