Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide an anti-vibration cooling structure which efficiently dissipates heat generated on a laser rod by the incidence of exciting beam.

CONSTITUTION: A laser rod 1 is wrapped by separated metal sleeves 2a and 2b, which are provided with exciting beam incidence windows 7 and have large heat conductivity, and a flexible heat conductive sheet 3 is extended and press bonded on the inner side of the cooling sleeves 2a and 2b. The laser rod 1 is fixed to the cooling sleeves 2a and 2b by fastening the flanges 4 of the cooling sleeves 2a and 2b by connecting bolts 6, and heat is efficiently dissipated to a laser rod supporting part 8 through the heat conductive sheet 3.
