Abstract:
PURPOSE:To arbitrarily use a portable data terminal, to effectively charge and to perform rational and highly reliable use by automatically switching an operation of an optical interface box and a charging operation in a state that the terminal is set to the box. CONSTITUTION:Whether a portable data terminal 2 set to a data delivering and receiving predetermined position of an optical interface box 1 is in an available state or a charge requiring state is decided by deciding means 25, and power supply for use and charging to a secondary cell 11 are automatically switched by charge control means 26. A charge display lamp 12 is fired to clearly inform a charging state, and a charge complete display lamp 13 is fired to clearly inform completion of charging. Accordingly, the terminal 2 for switching an effective charge in which an overcharge is eliminated and an operation by interrupting charging and in which consumption of the cell 11 does not occur even during operation, can be provided.
