Abstract:
An electrolytic process for producing a metallic joint between two metal surfaces and an apparatus for carrying it out are disclosed. In the process the electrolyte liquid is fed through a rotating electroplating device (1) with built-in anode (4) to the region of the joint and applied to the surfaces (A, B) to be joined. As a result, the immersion of the components in a plating bath is unnecessary. A joint between two components at an acute angle to one another is possible. The plating device is a roller (1) whose shape is matched to the seam geometry. Preferably, the roller (1) is made of an elastic material. ……
