PURPOSE: To provide soft yarns afforded with excellent color and special treatment to be served for common clothes, thus useful for knitting/weaving, also useful as embroidery yarns, and to provide knitted/woven fabrics made from the yarns.
CONSTITUTION: An aqueous solution bath containing a water-soluble acrylic acid resin or polyester resin is incorporated with at least one kind of substance among inorganic fluorescent substances, light recursive substances, foaming substances, thermochromic liquid crystals and light storage substances followed by passing dyed or nondyed yarns through the solution bath and the resultant yarns are dried and heat treated, thus affording the objective processed yarns. Because of making treatments, in the form of yarns, having various new effects using the resin, the processed yarns can give soft knitted fabrics and embroidery yarns of good feel with new, special effects, respectively.
