Abstract:
PURPOSE: To surely detect the clogging of a filter by judging that a filter is clogged when the value of a supplied current fed to a fan for generating an air flow in a duct provided with a filter, is decreased to not more than the lower limit current value obtained by deducting a prescribed current value from a basic current value. CONSTITUTION: In a gas air heating unit 1, when a heater 2 is started, air sucked into a combustion case 61 by a convection fan 52 is burned by a gas burner 6. Air sucked into a convection duct 4 through a filter 43 is mixed with waste combustion gas generated in the gas burner 6 and is blown off as warm wind. At this time, a computer 9 tries to keep the convection fan 52 detected by a rotation speed sensor 94a at a target rotation speed, and determines that the filter 43 is clogged when the value of a supplied current to a fan motor 51 of a fan 5 is decreased to not more than the lower limit current value obtained by deducting a prescribed value from a basic current value, and lights a filter lamp 17.
