Abstract:
The flexible covering is used mainly for the sidewalls of the transfer passage between e.g. two railway carriages which are linked together. The covers (1), which are multi-layered, are made as one part. The flexibility of the walls varies along their lengths. The parts near the edges (1e) are more flexible than the central regions (1b). The variation of flexibility is achieved by variation of the thickness of the wall or by variation of the hardness. The walls incorporate a more rigid layer for added strength.
