PURPOSE: To make the product quality good, to reduce NOx content in exhaust gas at the time of burning and to make the cost low.
CONSTITUTION: A fuel ejecting hole 1 projected from a furnace wall 8 is arranged so as to approach a material 9 to be heated from an air ejecting hole 2. As the preheated fuel 10 is ejected to the material 9 to be heated nearer than the preheated air 11, the mixture of the preheated fuel 10 and the preheated air 11 is restrained and the combustion speed is depressed. By this method, the condition covered with the reducing fuel or combustion gas on the surface of the material 9 to be heated is held and the development of the oxide is restrained and the already stuck oxide is reduced. The overheat of the material to be heated is prevented because of the lowering of the combustion gas temp., and the temps. of the combustion gas are averaged and the NOx generating quantity in the exhaust gas is reduced.
