Abstract:
A method for winding an elongated narrow film at high speed on a winding axle or on a support tube fixed thereto, in which the film is compressed widthwise by a pair of guide means spaced apart from each other widthwise by a distance smaller then the width of the film, and is then wound in such compressed condition. The film is compressed widthwise by the guide means and wound on the winding axle or on the support tuber fixed thereto.
