Abstract:
PURPOSE: To simplify a display device by calculating display element positions corresponding to the maximum and minimum values of a group of inputted signals and the number of display elements between them, placing the display elements from one display element position to the other in operation, and continuously displaying the input levels of the signals as a bar graph. CONSTITUTION: To display input levels on a character type display device 4, the maximum and minimum values are found from the group of inputted signals, the display element positions corresponding to the values and the number of display elements between them are calculated, and the display elements from one display element position to the other are placed in operation to continuously display the input levels of the signals as a bar graph. Consequently, this display device can be used in common for both level display and operation display of an operation part, etc., to simplify the structure and reduce the cost.
