PURPOSE: To simplify the structure of a garbage disposal device by forming a basket having a drainage pipe fitted to the base thereof, a draining basket provided with a draining hole, a long elevating bar and a draining cover provided with an opening for putting in and out garbage.

CONSTITUTION: A garbage disposal device is provided on the bottom of a sink vessel of a kitchen sink cabinet, and the gargage disposal device comprises a drainage pipe 2, a basket 10, a draining basket 20, an elevating bar 30 and a draining cover 40. One ends of wires 34, 34 of the bar 30 are fixed to the inside diameter side of the surface of a cover part 41, and the other ends thereof are fixed to the surface of a flange part 32C. One ends of wires 35, 35 are fixed to the back of the cover part 41, and the other ends thereof are fixed to the back of the flange part 32C. Subsequently, garbage 201 is put in the device through the opening 41A, a pull-up rod 32 is drawn up and the flange part 32C is moved left and right. The cover parts 41, 42 are moved downward, interlocking with the flange part 32C to compress the garbage 201 and discharge water from a draining hole 22. The garbage 201 is taken out from the opening 41A to be disposed. Thus, the structure can be simplified.
