Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a cell reserver which enables safe treatment of a patient with an extraneous gene-transduced cell or a xenotype cell, and can be used in vivo by embedding it in a living body for a long period of time because of its excellent biocompatibility.
CONSTITUTION: This cell reserver comprises a reserver 1 made of a porous membrane 2 of 0.05-2μm average pore size and the cells sealed in the reserver, and at least a part of the surface of the reserver being in contact with the living body is coated with a polymer mainly composed of an alkoxyalkyl acrylate.
